The SEM Model 6140C is a Level 5 rated (Secret), Cross-Cut, Shredder. Operating at a speed of 40 feet per minute it is capable of reducing up to twelve sheets, simultaneously, to a miniscule 1/32 x 1/2 inch. That's small enough that an army of ants, under alien control, of course, couldn't reconstruct your document!

This high specification shredder has an opening of 16 inches, and is powered by a 2 1/4 HP motor operating at 120 Volts, 20 Amps. Because of the starting current required by this motor, the manufacturer recommends operating it on a dedicated circuit. A number of our units are equipped with the SEM LK-1 Automatic Oiling System.
